2009 Centurion Marching Band and Color Guard both took second place at the Lester Oaks Field Show at Riverside King High School in Riverside, California on Saturday, November 14, 2009 for 1A Red division. Their field show was titled, "Minimally Speaking" and the selections were "New Rhythms", "Layers", and "Echoes". The 1A Red division consisted of the Valley View, Oak Hills, Yucaipa, and Pomona High Schools.

Congratulations to drum majors Alec Hoey, Elizabeth Raley, Bryant Fiesta; Drum Captain-Nick Velez and Color Guard Captain-Kimberly Csandi. UC-U Know!
